🚨 Breaking: Rayo's Estadio de Vallecas vandalised and broken into

Rayo Vallecano has reported on its social media that the Vallecas Stadium has been stormed and vandalized. The club's statement reveals that the authorities' box was damaged, along with the facades of the stadium, which are frequently defaced. This incident is seen as part of a campaign of harassment, extortion, and intimidation against the club and its president, which began on July 28 of last year.

Rayo Vallecano is frustrated by the incitement to hatred that has led to threats and acts of vandalism, such as the recent attack on the Bear and the Strawberry Tree statue. The club has secured the reopening of the stadium following a lack of works from the Community of Madrid and dismantling of an incorrect audit report used to suspend the stadium concession.

Rayo Vallecano asserts that the campaign of harassment will not intimidate them and that they will continue to work towards achieving their sixth consecutive survival in the first division.
