BREAKING: Mamelodi shock as 14-year-old twin brothers are stabbed to death

Police are investigating the murder of two 14-year-old twin brothers in their home in Mamelodi West, Tshwane. The siblings were found stabbed multiple times by their mother upon returning from work on Friday. There is no evidence of a forced entry into the residence. Gauteng police spokesperson Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi stated that they are pursuing a lead in the case, though she declined to provide further details to avoid compromising the ongoing investigation.

Nevhuhulwi expressed hope that the lead would help them understand the circumstances that led to the tragic incident. The community of Mamelodi West is in shock and disbelief over the gruesome deaths of the two young siblings. No arrests have been made yet. Mpho Mohlala, a community member, expressed fear for the safety of the residents, stating that they are unsure if such an incident could happen again and who could be responsible for targeting young children.
