After last-second thrills, ranked foes loom for Florida, Iowa and Mississippi State
Week 5 brings suspense as top-ranked teams Florida, Iowa, and Mississippi State face off against formidable opponents. The Gators return from a blowout against Mississippi, aiming to build on their resurgence under new coach Jon Sumrall. Meanwhile, Iowa faces a tough home game against Ohio State, the latter being heavy favorites despite a recent loss at LSU.
Mississippi State, the first ranked opponent of the year for Alabama, enters their season with strong performances from sophomore quarterbacks Kamario Taylor and Keelon Russell, who have tied for the most passing touchdowns in the Football Bowl Subdivision.
