2027: Taraba gov, Tompolo rally support for Tinubu’s re-election

Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas and High Chief Ekpemupolo, commonly known as Tompolo, have been actively urging citizens to back President Bola Tinubu's re-election campaign ahead of the 2027 presidential polls. This call for support was made during the inauguration of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement's grassroots mobilisation drive in Jalingo, Taraba State.

Tompolo, who serves as the Grand Patron of the movement, was joined by High Chief Kestin Pondi at the event. According to Tompolo, it is crucial to give the Tinubu administration's reforms enough time to take effect and show their benefits. He emphasized that every policy implementation faces challenges and requires time to show its dividends.

Tompolo also highlighted that Taraba State is benefiting from the policies of the Federal Government under Tinubu, stressing that continuity will help sustain the positive outcomes. During the event, Kefas reaffirmed the administration's commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda and pledged unwavering support for Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 presidential election.

The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, led by Sunday Asuku, was present to extend its mobilisation efforts and rally support for Tinubu and the state governor. The gathering also saw the donation of 25 campaign vehicles, generators, and electronic speakers to bolster the movement's grassroots activities.
