Why Yaxel Lendeborg believes Brandin Podziemski is an ‘elite scorer,' and more from Warriors practice
Golden State Warriors guard Brandin Podziemski looked like the best scorer on the floor across a rough hour and a half of scrimmage action at BYU-Hawaii's gym on Thursday.
In a recent practice session, Warriors guard Brandin Podziemski displayed his skill as a prolific scorer, according to rookie Yaxel Lendeborg. Podziemski, who will start at two-guard for the Golden State team, made multiple plays inside the paint and drew numerous shooting fouls, indicating his ability to consistently attack the basket.
Last season, Podziemski averaged 4.5 free throws per game, further highlighting his proficiency in the paint. The Warriors' head coach, Steve Kerr, praised Podziemski as one of their best players after the scrimmage practice.
