TVB actress Eva Lai, 62, to marry boyfriend in 2027 after finding love again

Hong Kong TVB actress Eva Lai, 62, announced her plans to marry her boyfriend in 2027 following a new romantic relationship. On September 28, the 62-year-old actress appeared on the Hong Kong talk show Big City Shop, where she discussed her love life. Eva stated, "It's not like I specifically looked for it; I think it's destiny and fate."

She and her boyfriend, who she has known for over two decades through their shared church involvement, decided to become a couple more recently. When asked about their wedding, she replied discreetly: "It will happen soon. We are getting married next year." Eva, who won the inaugural Miss Asia Pageant in 1985, previously married Hong Kong actor and martial artist Tony Liu in 1992.

The couple, who have two children, separated in 2000 due to alleged domestic violence and divorced in 2004. Eva has since appeared in various Hong Kong series and films, including Flying Tiger season 2 (2019), Forensic Heroes season 4 (2020), The Queen of News (2023), Love in a Fallen City (1984), and Thou Shalt Not Swear (1993).

Her children have shown support for her romance, expressing no objections and praising her boyfriend.
