“Special place” Zidane reveals the importance of Juventus to his footballing career

Zinedine Zidane, reflecting on his illustrious footballing career, has spoken fondly of his time at Juventus, describing it as a "special place" where he truly established himself as a top player. The French icon joined the Italian giants from Bordeaux following their 1996 Champions League triumph. At Juventus, he honed his skills and rapidly grew into one of the world's most influential players before moving to Real Madrid and eventually managing his national team.

Zidane's time in Turin had a profound impact on his development, transforming him from a talented midfielder into a world-class footballer. He is particularly remembered for his brilliant performances during the 1998 World Cup, where he scored twice in the final as France defeated Brazil to lift the trophy. This success marked a pivotal moment in both his career and the club's history.

Following his time at Juventus, Zidane continued to build on his reputation at Real Madrid, ultimately retiring after the 2006 World Cup final. However, his admiration for Juventus remains strong, with the possibility of a future return to manage the club still a dream possibility for him. For Juventus fans, Zidane remains one of the most gifted players to ever wear the Bianconeri's shirt, and his legacy at the club will always be highly regarded.
