Sevilla's manager, Luis Garcia Plaza, believes Barcelona is the best team in Spain and describes them as "very hungry." Speaking to El Larguero, Garcia Plaza stated that Barcelona has been dominant so far in the 2026/27 season. In a recent match, Barcelona defeated Sevilla 3-1, showcasing their attacking prowess. The Spanish football team has not lost any of their seven La Liga matches this season, scoring 31 goals and having a +24 goal difference.
Barcelona's attacking numbers appear to be the key factor in their success. Sevilla's manager praised Barcelona, highlighting their consistency and the impact of their coach, Hansi Flick. Barcelona's Brazilian forward has contributed significantly to their attacking surge with 14 goals in all competitions. Garcia Plaza also joked about Rodri's transfer to Barcelona from Manchester City, noting that the former Manchester City midfielder would never choose Sevilla but is pleased to see him back in Spain.
