American golfer Patrick Reed has secured his place at the DP World Tour Championship, set to take place at Jumeirah Golf Estates from November 12-15. Reed, who currently leads the Race to Dubai Rankings, aims to finish the season as Race to Dubai leader and claim the Harry Vardon Trophy. Having surpassed the seven-month mark at the top of the Race to Dubai Rankings, Reed is on the verge of becoming just the second American to finish as European Number One.
His previous record-breaking achievement was winning the DP World Tour Championship in 2018, also making him the first American to do so. Reed, who will return to the Earth course for the eighth time, acknowledges the competitive nature of the tournament, noting that he will need to perform well right to the end. Reed faces stiff competition from three-time DP World Tour Championship winner Rory McIlroy, who is aiming to secure his eighth Race to Dubai crown and match Colin Montgomerie's record of eight European Number One titles.
Other top contenders include Eugenio Chacarra, 2026 US PGA Championship winner Aaron Rai, and Open Champion Ryan Fox. The DP World Tour Championship, now in its 18th edition, is a significant sporting and social event in Dubai. General Admission tickets start from AED 160, with free entry for children aged 17 and under. Discounted General Admission tickets and premium viewing experiences are also available.
The Championship Chalet and the Earth Lounge provide premium viewing areas, while the Championship Village offers entertainment for fans of all ages.
