Punjab Makes Driving License Services More Accessible

The government of Punjab has launched a new initiative to make driving license services more accessible to citizens throughout the province. To achieve this, mobile licensing vans have been introduced, which will bring essential services directly to different communities across Punjab. These mobile vans will offer various licensing facilities, enabling citizens to complete key procedures without the need to travel to a fixed licensing center.

With the mobile vans, individuals can obtain learner permits, motorcycle driving licenses, and juvenile driving permits. Additionally, residents can use these vans for renewing their driving licenses and international driving permits. The primary objective of this initiative is to make licensing services more accessible by taking them directly to different communities in Punjab, thereby promoting greater convenience for citizens.

To take advantage of the mobile licensing facility, citizens are required to visit the vans according to the announced schedule. It is essential for individuals to bring the necessary documents for the relevant service when visiting the mobile vans. By providing driving license services directly to communities across Punjab, the government aims to encourage citizens to obtain valid driving licenses and comply with traffic laws, as part of its broader strategy to ensure road safety and responsible driving.
