PGA Tour Champions back at Palm Coast. Will it help Flagler County golf?

The PGA Tour Champions event, known as Constellation Furyk & Friends, is set to return to the Ocean Course at Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast. This is a significant event for both golf and Flagler County, as it has the potential to boost the local economy and tourism. The event will run from October 9-11 and will feature golfing legends such as Retief Goosen, Vijay Singh, Colin Montgomerie, and Bernhard Langer, among others.

Mike Pullen, owner of Grand Reserve Golf Course, believes that the presence of a PGA Tour Champions event will help maintain the strong golf scene in Flagler County, which has seen a resurgence in golf courses following the pandemic. M.G. Orender of Hampton Golf also sees the potential for the event to elevate the entire area, as it will showcase the variety of golf in Flagler County and attract visitors to the area.

The return of the PGA Tour Champions event to Palm Coast is a welcome development for golf fans in the area and a testament to the area's potential as a golf destination. With a mix of public, resort, and private courses, Flagler County offers something for every golfer, and the presence of a nationally televised event will undoubtedly put the area on the map.
