Notre Dame football's bid for perfection continues past Week 5
It was another close call for Notre Dame football as it hosted Cecilia in Week 5 of high school football.
Notre Dame football continued its quest for perfection in the regular season beyond Week 5 with a hard-fought 24-21 victory over Cecilia. The Pions overcame injuries and a tough opponent to soak up the clock and drive down the field, culminating in a game-sealing drive that pushed their lead back up to 10 points. Coach Lewis Cook praised his team's toughness, saying, "There's not enough I can say about our guys and the toughness they showed tonight."
The win keeps Notre Dame's bid for a perfect regular season alive while Cecilia returns to the drawing board.
