NMC Reopens Eligibility Certificate Application Window; Candidates Can Apply Till October 7

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has reopened the application window for the Eligibility Certificate, allowing candidates to apply online until October 7, 2026. This decision came after complaints from applicants about technical issues encountered while attempting to submit their applications within the initial deadline. The online application portal will reopen on October 1, 2026, at 10 am, and will remain open until October 7, 2026, at 6 pm.

Candidates should strive to complete their applications as soon as possible to avoid any last-minute complications.

The Ethics and Medical Registration Board (EMRB) of the NMC issued a public notice on September 30, informing candidates about the reopening of the application window. The additional opportunity was provided in response to representations from candidates who were unable to complete their applications during the earlier period, which was set to close on September 30.

The NMC strongly advised candidates to fill out the application form accurately, as incomplete applications will not be processed and will be summarily rejected.

The Eligibility Certificate issuance process involves several checks to ensure applicants meet the required eligibility criteria under current regulations. Candidates are urged to provide all necessary information accurately to prevent deficiencies and minimize communication during the application processing. Regularly checking registered email IDs and the online portal for updates is also recommended.
