Madhya Pradesh IAS Transfer List Held Up As Decisions On UAD Commissioner, Collectors Remain Pending

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: The eagerly anticipated Madhya Pradesh IAS officers transfer list is delayed due to pending decisions concerning several officers. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and chief secretary Ashok Barnwal have discussed the transfers twice, but the list still awaits final clearance. While a few collector posts in different districts have been approved for transfer, the fate of the Gwalior district collector remains undecided.

Ruchika Chouhan, currently the Gwalior collector, might be elevated to the post of secretary in January next year, but the government is yet to decide whether to proceed with the transfer now or wait until then.

In addition to the Gwalior collector's case, the administration is deliberating on transferring the UAD Sanket Bhondve to another location. Several names are still under consideration for the post of collector. The government is also contemplating the transfer of collectors from Harda, Panna, Singrauli, and Bhind districts.

Several officers from the 2017 batch, who were not selected as collectors, will be assigned to districts. The government may also alter the postings of a few principal secretaries from various departments. Amit Rathore, currently the principal secretary of the commercial tax department, might be transferred to another position. Similarly, Manish Rastogi, the additional chief secretary of the finance department, could join an important department.

Sukhveer Singh, who heads the PWD and health departments, may find relief from one of the two departments. Navneet Kothari, the principal secretary of Raj Bhawan, may return to Mantralaya and take on a new role.

Moreover, E Ramesh, who was previously the principal secretary of the revenue department, might be replaced as the government encounters issues with registrations in that department. GV Rashmi, the secretary of the Women and Child Development Department, could also be transferred to another location. Besides these officers, the upcoming transfer list might include names of officers whose departments the government plans to change.
