Police in Perlis are urging individuals, specifically a man named Farhaan Rahmat, to attend IPD Padang Besar to assist with the investigation into a sexual assault case involving a child, which occurred on September 26. The incident was reported to the authorities at 2:09 am, and the case is being investigated under Section 12 of the Offences Against Children (Prevention of Child Abuse) Act 2017. If found guilty, the perpetrator could face imprisonment for up to five years and/or a fine.
