Ken Urker, Gypsy-Rose Blanchard’s Partner, Dies at 34

Ken Urker, the father of Gypsy-Rose Blanchard's daughter, has passed away at the age of 34, according to the Lafourche Sheriff’s Office. On Thursday evening, authorities responded to a residence in Raceland after receiving a call around 6:15 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Urker unresponsive, and he was pronounced dead. The extent of the investigation remains ongoing.

The cause of death has not been disclosed. Urker's birthday coincided with his death. Blanchard had attempted to contact Urker on Thursday to send a birthday message, but there was no response. According to reports, Urker was found by Blanchard's brother, Dylan, and his wife, who were planning to dine out together. Blanchard, the subject of Hulu's "The Act" miniseries, released a statement on Urker's death expressing her deep love for him and mourning his loss.

She acknowledged that Urker had faced significant public scrutiny and cyberbullying, emphasizing that the cruelty he endured was intolerable. Urker gained notoriety for his appearance on Lifetime's "Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup," where he documented his relationship with Blanchard following her release from prison and subsequent divorce from her first husband, Ryan Anderson.

Blanchard and Urker, who were briefly engaged in 2018 while Blanchard was in prison for allegedly murdering her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, reunited in early 2024. They welcomed their daughter, Aurora Raina Urker, in December 2024. TMZ was the first to report Urker's passing.
