Kampf gegen Rechtsextremismus: Polizeiaktion gegen Nazi-Musik - 33.000 Tonträger gefunden

In a massive operation involving hundreds of police officers across several German states, authorities discovered approximately 33,000 records of Nazi music. These included CDs, vinyl records, and cassettes, according to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern's Landeskriminalamt (LKA). Over 20,000 of these records were found at the four main suspects.

Additionally, around 130 storage media, including hard drives, mobile phones, and USB sticks, as well as assets worth around two million euros, were seized. Around 11,000 euros of this was in cash with the four main suspects. The investigation primarily focused on music that spread a "national socialist, antisemitic, racist, and contemptible ideology."

Four suspects aged 55, 52, 48, and 43 years old are suspected of having permanently collaborated since at least 2020 to produce and market such CDs and records. They are accused of being members of a right-wing extremist criminal organization. Investigations also targeted manufacturers in European countries like Estonia, Italy, Poland, and the Czech Republic, where the records were reportedly manufactured.

At the locations searched in these countries, the records were allegedly produced without knowing the type of music being made. In Baden-Württemberg, Brandenburg, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Saxony, and Thuringia, searches also targeted eight other suspects accused of incitement to hatred in connection with the records.

No arrests were made; the searches were intended to clarify existing suspicions. Over 390 police officers from the involved federal states, the federal government, and European neighboring countries were involved under the leadership of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern's LKA.
