The Illinois High School Association (IHSA) has released the boys soccer postseason pairings and results for the Springfield area. The state finals will take place at Guilford High School in Rockford from Thursday, Nov. 5 through Saturday, Nov. 7.
In Class 2A, Chatham Glenwood Regional will face off against Mount Zion on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 4:30 p.m. A game between Springfield High and Charleston will take place on Friday, Oct. 23 at 6:30 p.m.
Regional championship games will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 27. Danville will face off against Kankakee at 6 p.m., while Bethalto Civic Memorial will host Jerseyville at 4:30 p.m. Mattoon will square off against Alton at 4 p.m., and Jacksonville will play Alton at 6 p.m.
In Class 1A, Riverton Regional Semifinals and the final will be held at 1014 East Lincoln Street in Riverton. No. 1 Williamsville will face the game 1 winner at 4 p.m., while No. 4 Warrensburg-Latham will play Athens at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24.
Regional championship games will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 27. Taylorville will play North Mac at 10 a.m., while Staunton will face Litchfield at 4:30 p.m. and Litchfield will play Raymond Lincolnwood at 6:30 p.m. Hillsboro will face Pana at 4:30 p.m., and Hillsboro will also play Effingham at 4:30 p.m. Kewanee will host Monmouth-Roseville at 4 p.m.
