Mountaineer fans, it’s time to hit the road, or get comfortable at home.
The West Virginia Mountaineers are set to face the Iowa State Cyclones in a Big 12 football matchup at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, Iowa on Saturday. The game will kick off at noon Eastern, with coverage on TNT, truTV, and HBO Max. West Virginia enters the game with a 3-1 record, having concluded their season with a victory over Oklahoma State.
This will mark the Mountaineers' first true road game of the season as they look to build on their 3-0 start. The Iowa State Cyclones, on the other hand, are 2-2 and have lost their most recent matchup, a narrow loss to Utah. The two teams have met six times previously, with the series currently tied at 6-6. The Mountaineers will be looking to claim their first victory in Iowa City since 2022 when they take on the Cyclones.
