Doha, Qatar - The 22nd edition of the Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition (DJWE) welcomed a diverse array of exhibitors from Qatar, the GCC, and international venues. Among the new participants were Qatari designers Midad Jewellery and H Jewellery, as well as a range of GCC-based exhibitors making their debut. The Qatari Designers Pavilion, sponsored by Scale7, showcased two emerging designers alongside established local names.
Midad Jewellery, founded by Abdulla Yousuf Al-Fakhroo, blended architecture, calligraphy, and contemporary design to create jewelry that interpreted regional artistic traditions and visual culture. H Jewellery, established in 2012 by Hamad Ahmad Al-Mohammed, drew inspiration from fine arts, cultural heritage, and historical symbols to craft contemporary pieces with personal narratives.
Other newcomers included Ghand Jewellery, Kaltham's Pavilion, M Royal Collection, and Alghla Jewellery, each presenting unique collections. Zari Jewellery, an independent Qatari exhibitor, debuted with a collection of 21 Karat and 18 Karat gold pieces, including diamond-set designs and traditional Qatari elements like the Bisht and Jadla.
Four GCC-based exhibitors, including Al Bakshi Gold & Diamond Company from Saudi Arabia, Ammar Jewellery from the UAE, Lulu Al Mahmoud from Bahrain, and Zari Jewellery, joined established international exhibitors like Italian Maison Veschetti. The latter celebrated its 77-year legacy with a new gold-and-diamond collection, AURA.
