As Germany celebrates its Day of Unity, the country's engineering prowess remains evident in the UAE, with Dillinger Middle East FZE (DiME) leading the way. Founded in Jebel Ali Free Zone in 1999, DiME serves as the regional branch of Dillinger, a global heavyweight in heavy plate steel. Over the past 25 years, DiME has provided Middle Eastern customers with direct access to German-quality plate, offering thicknesses ranging from 6 mm to 290 mm.
These plates adhere to international standards like API, ASME, ASTM, and others, and are supported by local inventory and a skilled workforce.
Pulin Parikh, Managing Director of DiME, emphasizes that with Pure Steel+, customers now have the opportunity to balance performance and sustainability. DiME's Pure Steel+ brand delivers high-quality steel that is both efficient and environmentally friendly. A key component of DiME's strategy is its commitment to decarbonization, which aligns with Dillinger's broader Power4Steel initiative.
This program involves a significant investment in a Direct Reduction Iron plant and Electric Arc Furnaces in Dillingen, with the aim of reducing CO2 emissions by more than half by 2030. For UAE customers, this translates to continued access to DiME's renowned quality, now accompanied by a lower carbon footprint. To learn more, visit www.dillingermiddleeast.com.
