Danny Batth On Indian Football And A Desire To Represent The Indian National Team

In a historic match between India and Brazil, Danny Batth, a defender of Indian descent, aims to represent the Indian national team. The Indian football team is scheduled to play Brazil on Saturday at Kolkata's Salt Lake Stadium, where fans estimate tens of millions of supporters are expected to attend. Despite being born in India, Batth has never been selected to play for the Indian team or England.

The Indian team's selection policy only allows players born in the country. Batth, who has played for prominent English clubs such as Wolves, Sheffield United, and Sunderland, has expressed admiration for the growing popularity of football in India.
