Chelsea makes first move in fight with Arsenal for Bundesliga star

Chelsea has taken the lead in the battle with Arsenal for Bundesliga defender Jarell Quansah, as the London-based club has stepped up their pursuit of the player during the current transfer window. Quansah, who has attracted significant interest from both teams, has been performing impressively for Bayer Leverkusen since his move from Liverpool, and is expected to return to the Premier League in the future.

Arsenal is keen to secure his signature, but they face stiff competition from Chelsea, who have already initiated contact to discuss a possible transfer. While Chelsea has not yet reached an agreement with Leverkusen, their early move signals their determination to sign the defender, potentially giving them an advantage over Arsenal. Arsenal, who have admired Quansah for some time, will need to respond promptly if they hope to prevent Chelsea from securing his signature.
