Victor Osimhen, the Galatasaray striker, will start in the team for their UEFA Champions League match against Barcelona later this month, according to A Spor and Sabah Sports reports. Osimhen's inclusion in the starting lineup will also depend on the progress of the match in Galatasaray's upcoming game against Kasımpaşa, scheduled for October 9.
The Champions League clash between Galatasaray and Barcelona is set to take place on Tuesday, October 13, at Rams Park. Osimhen has been absent from Galatasaray's recent matches, including losses to Sporting Lisbon, Kocaelispor, and Trabzonspor, due to a groin injury sustained during the team's win against Başakşehir last month.
Consequently, Osimhen did not play for the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles, during their matches against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau during the recent international break.
