CDA Recovers 1,000 Kanal Land Worth Billions

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has successfully reclaimed over 1,000 kanals of land in Sector E-12 after a gap of four decades, clearing a major obstacle to development in the region. The recovered land is estimated to be worth billions of rupees, according to the official reports. Construction of roads and basic urban infrastructure has already started in the sector.

The recovery was achieved through a joint effort involving the CDA, Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad, Islamabad administration, and the police to resolve the long-standing land dispute. The CDA stated that this recovery marks a significant milestone in the progress of Sector E-12, and that ongoing efforts are being made to transform the area into a fully developed residential and urban sector.

The development activities are being meticulously supervised by CDA Chairman and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, and the overall development in the capital is being pursued under the guidance of Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi.
