Brakence, the Columbus digicore artist, has announced his upcoming album Marrow, set to release on October 23rd via Columbia Records. Following the release of a new single last week, Brakence has provided two more tracks in advance of the project's arrival. The Columbus-based artist's music defies easy categorization, blending elements of hyperpop, emo rap, rock, and more.
Brakence identifies as a post-everything artist, a label that seems fitting given his eclectic sound and musical influences spanning both modern and historical sources.
The new single "crystallized" is described as blue-eyed soul tailored for the 2Hollis generation, while the track "death roll" merges melodic rap, post-Radiohead alt-rock, and electronic dance music. The production quality is praised for being crisp and vivid, with catchy songwriting and dynamic performances. The artist's unique style and personality are evident in both songs. Fans can pre-save the album via the provided link.
