Benson Boone Recalls ‘Embarrassing’ Bathroom Encounter With Fan: ‘I Was Horrified’

On the opening night of the Fireworks & Rollerblades World Tour, Benson Boone found himself in an embarrassing situation when a fan unexpectedly entered the bathroom backstage. The venue lacked individual restrooms, and Boone shared the facility with the audience. He had developed a habit of removing his pants entirely while using public restrooms, a playful tradition among his guy friends.

However, this particular encounter took an awkward turn when a fan, mistaking it for a gathering of his friends, entered the bathroom. Boone, not noticing the stranger, was horrified when the fan gasped, immediately realizing the intrusion. Despite the initial shock, the fan was friendly and the two had a polite exchange afterward.

This incident marked a turning point in Boone's career, leading to the cancellation of smaller venues in favor of arena tours. Both the 2025-26 American Heart World Tour and his ongoing Wanted Man Tour, supporting his 2025 album, feature larger venues to ensure privacy.
