Amazon's slashed prices on tons of Bluetooth speakers, but these best-sellers are the ones actually worth buying
We've rounded up the best Bluetooth speakers that are currently discounted from Amazon's best sellers list — here's what we recommend.
During Amazon Australia's Prime Big Deal Days, a multitude of Bluetooth speakers are discounted, but some stand out as the most worthy purchases. Among these top deals are the JBL Flip 6 and the Bose SoundLink Flex (2nd Gen). The JBL Flip 6, which earned a 4.5-star rating in a review, is now available for AU$169.95, a AU$70 saving off its original price. The Bose SoundLink Flex (2nd Gen), rated 4 stars, is available for AU$249.95, discounted by AU$102.70 for Prime members.
Both speakers boast robust sound quality and waterproof designs, making them ideal for portable audio upgrades. However, Amazon's best-seller rankings also highlight other popular choices from brands like Soundcore, Harman Kardon, and Ultimate Ears, all at varying price points. This makes the current speaker deals during Prime Big Deal Days particularly noteworthy.
One such deal is the JBL Flip 6, a favorite for outdoor use due to its robust IP67 waterproof and dustproof design, a 12-hour battery life, and PartyBoost support for connecting compatible JBL speakers for amplified sound. Another standout is the JBL Charge 5, which offers up to 20 hours of playtime, an IP67 rating for outdoor use, a built-in power bank for charging devices, and PartyBoost support.
The Bose SoundLink Flex (2nd Gen) is another commendable option, delivering high-fidelity audio with deep bass in a compact form. It features IP67 waterproofing, up to 12 hours of battery life, and the ability to pair with other Bose speakers for a louder sound. For pool parties, the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 4 is a great choice with its IP67 rating for dust and water, 360-degree audio, and the ability to float when submerged.
For those who need a durable speaker, the JBL Grip is designed for outdoor activities with up to 14 hours of battery life, IP67 waterproofing, dustproof, and drop-proof features, and Auracast multi-speaker support. Lastly, the Stormbox Micro 3, often used for outdoor adventures, offers up to 24 hours of playtime, an IP68 waterproof rating, and a rugged build with a magnetic mount for attaching to gear.
