Alexander Skarsgård Has All the Slick Moves, But No Shirt in Video For Rolling Stones’ ‘Mr. Charm’
The clip for the song from the band's Foreign Tongues album finds the Pillion star showing off some different kinds of sweaty maneuvers.
Alexander Skarsgård, renowned for his smooth moves, appears shirtless and dancing energetically in the video for the Rolling Stones' "Mr. Charm," released on October 1, 2021. Directed by Henry Scholfield, the video follows a straightforward premise: Skarsgård arrives in sleepy Palmdale, California, with an enigmatic gaze to win over the locals.
The clip commences at an old gas station where Skarsgård dons red cowboy boots, tight black jeans, chest adorned with silver necklaces, and a fringed buckskin jacket, but notably, he is shirtless. He strikes a pose, checks his appearance in the mirror, and proceeds to move around, charming everyone around. The lyrics, sung by Mick Jagger, describe him as someone who can show one mesmerizing locations and fill their mind with tantalizing dreams.
Midway through the video, Skarsgård surrenders his pretenses and engages in a seductive, oiled-up dance amidst the bed, despite failing to impress even Sara Sampaio, the one individual in town who appears indifferent to his charms. "Mr. Charm" is part of the Rolling Stones' "Foreign Tongues" album, which debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 in July.
Previous videos from the album have also featured Hollywood stars such as Anya Taylor-Joy in "Jealous Lover" and Odessa A'Zion in "In the Stars."
