3 best new to Prime Video shows you should binge-watch this weekend —including a murderous Ryan Murphy mystery (Oct. 2-4)
Planning to binge-watch something new this weekend? Here's our weekly guide to the best new to Prime Video series you should be streaming right now.
For a spooky weekend binge-watch, consider these new Prime Video shows: Chucky, Scream Queens, and Miss Scarlet.
Chucky, a continuation of the Child's Play saga, brings the iconic killer doll to life in three new seasons. The story follows 14-year-old Jake Wheeler who acquires a vintage Good Guy doll, leading to a string of gruesome murders in his small town.
Scream Queens offers a deliriously campy horror-comedy experience. Set in a college sorority, the series introduces a serial killer in a Red Devil costume. The show features a cast of famous faces, including Emma Roberts and Jamie Lee Curtis, and their wicked antics make it perfect for Halloween.
Miss Scarlet is a Victorian mystery series that provides a break from the bloodshed. The story follows Eliza Scarlet, played by Kate Phillips, as she takes over her late father's struggling detective agency in 1880s London. With a strong lead performance from Phillips and a unique chemistry between her and her partner, the show captures the essence of Victorian-era shenanigans.
