Nigerian singer D’Banj has donated three brand-new Sienna space buses to Osun politician Pelumi Olajengbesi in support of his campaign to represent the Oriade-Obokun Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives in 2027. The singer surprised Olajengbesi with the vehicles in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State, on Thursday. In a Facebook post, Olajengbesi described the donation as a surprise and a significant show of support from D’Banj.
According to the politician, D’Banj had reached out to him about two weeks earlier to obtain details about the person responsible for his campaign branding, believed to be for D’Banj’s CREAM project focused on supporting young creatives. D’Banj expressed his support for Olajengbesi's political journey by sharing the contact, leading to the delivery of the fully branded buses.
The development comes as Olajengbesi gains growing public support for his bid to represent the Oriade-Obokun federal constituency seat.
