Why Ronaldo left Portugal camp — Report

Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly left Portugal's training camp after feeling "betrayed" by coach Jorge Jesus, according to renowned Spanish sports journalist Edu Aguirre. The incident occurred following an alleged private apology from Jesus over Ronaldo's treatment during a recent match. Aguirre stated that Jesus met with Ronaldo privately, apologising for the decision to leave him warming up for 30 minutes without being brought on.

However, Jesus later contradicted this at a press conference, leading to Ronaldo's explosive reaction and subsequent departure from the camp. Ronaldo's sister, Katia Aveiro, also criticised Portugal following the development.
