Staff Roundtable: Let’s Find Some Positives in Purdue Football
Let’s find some silver linings.
Purdue football has been struggling this season, with the team currently at 1 win against a FCS opponent. However, there are still some positives to highlight. The wide receiver room has seen significant improvement compared to last year, with Xavier Townsend, Waseem, and Magwood forming a solid trio. Travis mentioned that aside from the Notre Dame game, the offense has some punch, with Ijeboi and Ryan Browne stepping up their performances.
The team's win against UCLA and Wake Forest demonstrates their ability to compete against top-tier opponents. Casey praised the classic combination of black and gold uniforms, while Ryan noted a positive change in the music selection during halftime. Jed commended Ryan Browne's development, highlighting his significant improvement and reduced turnovers.
These positive aspects offer hope that Purdue football could achieve a win in the upcoming Big Ten game.
