St. John’s men’s basketball picked second in Big East preseason poll

The Big East coaches have ranked St. John's men's basketball team second in their preseason poll ahead of Media Day, despite the Huskies winning back-to-back regular-season and tournament titles over the past two seasons. St. John's dominated the conference over the last two years, but the coaches are taking the Huskies to break that streak this year. The team returns its starting backcourt of Silas Demary, Jr. and Braylon Mullins, along with potential breakout transfers and highly ranked freshmen.
