Reay wants strong performance from Sunderland against Leicester City

Sunderland head coach Melanie Reay is calling for a strong performance from her team against Leicester City in their upcoming match. Reay believes that if Sunderland play "the Sunderland way," they will put in a strong performance and secure another three points. The Lady Black Cats will face The Foxes at Eppleton Colliery Welfare Ground on Sunday afternoon.

Reay noted that they played Leicester in pre-season, giving them an idea of the team's strengths and weaknesses. However, she emphasized that they should focus on playing strong football in the upcoming match. Sunderland has taken 10 points from 12 available so far but Reay wants her team to take each game as it comes and not look too far ahead.

She stated, "It's been a really strong start. I was really pleased that we had a really strong season. You always want that to carry into the league games and it certainly has done." Sunderland is currently in second place in the Barclays WSL2 table, and Reay wants her team to end the first block of matches positively with a win.
