The arrest took place when operatives of the State Intelligence Department received intelligence and tracked the suspects to Cham, a community located in Gombe State. SP Suleiman Nguroje, the Adamawa State Police Public Relations Officer, announced the development on Thursday.
According to Nguroje, the suspects were apprehended while engaged in the illegal trade of firearms. The two individuals, Commander Barde, who is 54 years old and hails from Zakawon Village in Guyuk Local Government Area, and Abdullahi Musa, 51, from Ga’anda in Gombi Local Government Area, Adamawa State, were found in possession of and dealing in firearms.
