Phillies' Alec Bohm joins David Ortiz from 2004 ALCS with clutch MLB HR history
This clutch homer from Alec Bohm is an all-timer.
In Game 2 of the NL Wild Card, the Philadelphia Phillies secured a crucial one-run advantage with a clutch home run by Alec Bohm in extra innings. This incredible feat has now made Bohm the third player in MLB history to hit a go-ahead home run in extra innings during a postseason elimination game. Joining David Ortiz and Carlton Fisk in this prestigious group, Bohm's home run ensured the Phillies remained in contention for the 2026 World Series.
