Odo Broni, Others Mark Daddy Lumba’s Birthday With Korle Bu Donation

Odo Broni, Faustina, and other members of the team honored the late Highlife musician, Daddy Lumba, on what would have been his 62nd birthday by making a generous donation to patients at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. The widow of Daddy Lumba, Priscilla Ofori, known as Odo Broni, alongside the musician's sister, Faustina Fosu, family members, and friends, covered the medical expenses of some new mothers, mothers whose children were undergoing cancer treatment, and all mothers who delivered at the hospital on September 29.

Odo Broni shared that this act of kindness was inspired by her mother-in-law, Comfort Ama Saah Gyamfi, who passed away from leukaemia. She explained that Daddy Lumba often cried when reminiscing about his mother, which motivated her to support mothers battling cancer in his memory. Each mother who received the cancer-related assistance was given GH¢3,000. Daddy Lumba, born Charles Kwadwo Fosu, sadly passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 60.
