Meet the Kindle Click: The Kindle page-turner Ive been dreaming about for years

Amazon unveils a new interactive device for Kindles, the Kindle Click, designed to enhance the reading experience with an innovative page-turning accessory. Priced at $34.99, this clicker offers a more tactile and convenient method of navigating pages, a feature that has gained popularity among BookTok users. Unlike previous third-party remote controls, the Kindle Click is a native accessory, seamlessly integrating with recent Kindle models and backward-compatible with devices from 2024 onwards.

Featuring two substantial haptic buttons for page turning and smaller side buttons for brightness control, the Kindle Click aims to provide a hands-free reading experience, ideal for use in various settings such as on the couch or during exercise. Head of Kindle's design team, Chris Green, emphasized the importance of meeting readers where they are, highlighting that the new lineup of Kindles and accessories is designed to offer comfort and seamless functionality. The Kindle Click is available for pre-order, with an expected release date of October 28, 2024.
