Lionsgate Acquires Dylan Clark, Chase Infiniti Horror Film ‘Portrait of God’ From Universal

Lionsgate has acquired Dylan Clark's horror film "Portrait of God" from Universal. The movie, starring Chase Infiniti, is based on Clark's YouTube horror short of the same name. This acquisition marks Clark's second collaboration with Lionsgate; he is set to make his feature debut with a new take on the "Blair Witch Project" franchise.

Notable horror figures Sam Raimi and Jordan Peele are attached as producers. Lionsgate's Adam Fogelson expressed excitement about the project, praising Clark's talent and unique perspective. Chase Infiniti, who gained recognition for her performance in "One Battle After Another" at the Toronto International Film Festival, is set to lead this film. The exact reason for Universal's decision to let go of the project remains unclear.
