Hanya 4 kawasan catat IPU tak sihat petang ini

Johan Setia and Klang in Selangor are among four areas that recorded unhealthy air quality index (IPU) readings within the last five evenings, according to the Malaysia Air Pollution Index Management System (APIMS) portal. Johan Setia recorded an IPU reading of 154 and Klang (139). Two other areas that recorded unhealthy IPU readings were Nilai in Negeri Sembilan (130) and Putrajaya (122).

The remaining 57 areas recorded simple IPU readings, such as Shah Alam and Banting in Selangor, which each recorded an IPU of 98 and 97, respectively, and Cheras (95). Seven areas were in the good category, including Kangar in Perlis with an IPU of 49 and several areas in Sarawak, such as Miri ILP and Miri (47), Mukah (46), Sibu (44), Limbang (35), and Kota Kinabalu in Sabah (45).

An IPU reading of 0 to 50 indicates good air quality, 51 to 100 indicates simple, 101 to 200 indicates unhealthy, 201 to 300 indicates very unhealthy, and readings above 300 are hazardous.
