🔥 Edu Aguirre reveals: how Jorge Jesus betrayed Cristiano Ronaldo

Edu Aguirre has revealed the reason behind Cristiano Ronaldo's departure from Portugal's training camp, alleging that the national team coach Jorge Jesus betrayed him. During Portugal's match against Norway, Ronaldo was expected to play the final half-hour, but Jorge Jesus kept him on the bench for the entire period. After the game, Ronaldo did not participate in training with the team, leading to Aguirre's detailed account in El Chiringuito.

Cristiano Ronaldo's version of events states that there was a meeting on Tuesday night where Jorge Jesus apologized to him in front of the federation president for disrespecting him by having him warm up for 30 minutes and not bringing him onto the pitch. Jorge Jesus allegedly disclosed his apology in private and publicly promised to clarify his actions during a press conference.

However, Edu Aguirre claims that Jorge Jesus lied during the press conference, telling CR7 that he had made a mistake and that he would explain the situation in the press conference. This led Ronaldo to feel hurt, believing that Jorge Jesus considered him just another player and that he was the one in charge. Consequently, Ronaldo left the team, feeling betrayed by Jorge Jesus' actions.
