Duke Energy declares quarterly dividend of $1.085 per share

Duke Energy, a major energy company, has announced a quarterly cash dividend of $1.085 per share for its common stock. Shareholders who are on the company's records as of Nov. 13, 2026, will receive the dividend on Dec. 16, 2026. The company has also declared a quarterly cash dividend of $359.375 per share for its Series A preferred stock, payable on the same date. This marks Duke Energy's 100th consecutive annual cash dividend payment on its common stock.

The company serves a significant number of customers, with 8.7 million customers across North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. Additionally, their natural gas utilities serve 1.6 million customers in the same states. Duke Energy operates with a total energy capacity of 55,700 megawatts.
