Directions for Recording Talent Marketplace Videos

To capture a video for the Talent Marketplace on NASA's platform, follow these steps. First, create a meeting invite in Outlook and add yourself as an attendee to the "Record LEADS Video" meeting. Join the meeting in a separate Teams window, ensuring you are seated comfortably in a quiet environment. Once inside the meeting, select More (…) and choose Record and Transcribe, then start the recording.

While recording, make sure your video and audio are both being captured in English. The backdrop of mountains, valleys, and glittering stars depicted in the example is the edge of a young star-forming region named NGC 3324 in the Carina Nebula, captured in infrared light by NASA's James Webb Space Telescope, revealing star birth for the first time.

After finishing the recording, return to More (…) and select Stop Recording. The file will automatically save to your OneDrive. Open OneDrive with your work account, navigate to My Files in the left sidebar, and locate your video file in the Recordings folder. Finally, go to your Talent Marketplace application, click Attach or Upload, and select the video file you just saved.
