Capt Smit Machchhar shifted to Abu Dhabi, closely monitoring his health: MEA on flydubai Indian pilot
Indian ambassador in UAE met the pilot's family and assured them that all possible support will be extended for his health and well-being.
The first images of Flydubai Captain Smit Machchhar, who was severely injured during a mid-air cockpit attack, have been released. The Indian pilot can be seen outside the aircraft with extensive bandages covering his chest and abdomen, appearing very weak after losing a significant amount of blood while defending himself against his co-pilot.
Doctors treating Machchhar were initially doubtful about his survival due to the amount of blood he had lost. The photograph shows Machchhar standing outside the plane, his injuries clearly visible.
