Can UCF football upset No. 20 Houston? Scouting report, score predictions
The UCF Knights begin a stretch of three straight games against ranked opponents when they visit the Houston Cougars.
Orlando — UCF's football rivalry with Houston has spanned over a decade across three different conferences. Both schools boast significant ties to space exploration, with UCF having produced 29% of Kennedy Space Center employees and Houston earning the nickname "Space City." Last November, Houston ended UCF's eight-game unbeaten streak in "Space Games" with a 30-27 victory.
Houston currently sits at 20th in the US LBM Coaches Poll and is the first ranked opponent on UCF's schedule in a series of three consecutive ranked games. UCF has historically held an 8-4 edge over Houston, raising questions about whether Houston can deliver an upset and secure a 2-0 start in conference play.
