Angular, AnalogJS, Spartan and Claude Code: shipping a 6-language comparison site fast

I created Runometry, a running shoe database and price comparator, primarily using Angular and Parallel Agents. The website features 841 shoes from 16 brands in 6 different locales. Angular and AnalogJS were used for static rendering and file-based routing, making it ideal for catalog pages generated from data. Signals and standalone components in Angular provide an enjoyable development experience.

Spartan (spartan.ng) offers accessible UI components for Angular, following a consistent design system and being fully customizable. Tailwind CSS was employed for styling. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, with images served as WebP files from a CDN. The website supports hreflang and localized routes from the start. Pages are generated from the catalog, including shoes, brands, categories, A vs B comparator pages (restricted to comparable pairs), guides, and a blog.

The workflow with Claude Code involved setting clear conventions upfront (structure, naming, component patterns) to ensure agents produced code compatible with the project. Parallel agents worked on independent areas like comparator logic, templates, translations, and data validation. The author reviewed diffs, ran the build, and checked factual accuracy.

Small, frequent commits allowed for easy review or reversion of agent changes. The author plans to keep the current stack, as they are comfortable with it, and believes agents are most effective when their output can be quickly evaluated. Moving forward, the author will implement daily price collection as a time series, encompassing price history, a price drop radar, and alerts.

The author is considering various data sources such as feeds, APIs, and scraping and is open to input on this matter.
