Acer Malaysia has introduced two new products today: a revamped Predator Orion 7000 desktop and a Predator Concept Store at Plaza Low Yat. The latter appears to be the more significant addition. The refreshed Predator Orion 7000 maintains its core specifications, featuring the same Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card as the previous model.
However, Acer has updated the case design and upgraded the internal components to include 32GB of DDR5 RAM and 1TB of SSD storage. Customers can further expand the storage up to 6TB using two M.2 slots. The Predator CycloneX 360 cooling system, combined with the CPU liquid cooler, reportedly enhances cooling efficiency by 15% and reduces motherboard temperature by nine degrees Celsius.
Despite these improvements, the price of the refreshed Predator Orion 7000 is set at RM18,999, a point that may be exacerbated by current memory shortages. Acer is offering a free Predator Cestus 335 mouse, valued at RM299, for early buyers who purchase before October 14th.
