108 Pakistani Universities Feature in World University Rankings 2027

The Times Higher Education (THE) has unveiled its 2027 World University Rankings, which includes 2,297 institutions from 118 countries and territories. Pakistan boasts a remarkable 108 universities in the global ranking system. Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), situated in Islamabad, claims the top spot among Pakistani institutions, nestled within the 551-600 global ranking band.

The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) and COMSATS University Islamabad also make it to the list, occupying the 601-650 and 651-700 bands respectively. Bahauddin Zakariya University in Multan and the University of Agriculture Faisalabad share the 701-800 band together.
