UP State-Level Art Exhibition 2026-27 Entries Open From October 1, 10 Artists To Get ₹25,000 Each

The Uttar Pradesh government has opened entries for the 36th State-Level Art Exhibition 2026-27, providing a platform for artists to gain statewide recognition. The Rajya Lalit Kala Academy, under the Culture Department, is inviting submissions of original works in various mediums such as painting, drawing, sculpture, and traditional art forms.

Artists can submit their works between October 1 and October 31, with an entry fee of ₹300 payable in cash, money order, or bank draft to the Director of the Rajya Lalit Kala Academy. A total of ten artists will receive ₹25,000 each, along with certificates and mementos, following an initial selection based on submitted photographs and a subsequent evaluation of the chosen works.

Only works created after October 1, 2025, are eligible for the exhibition, and pre-existing pieces displayed at state-level exhibitions will not be accepted. The Academy emphasizes the importance of using durable materials for sculptures and adheres to specific size and photograph requirements. Selected artists will be notified to send their creations, with non-receipt resulting in exclusion from the exhibition.
